Things to do in Limone sul Garda

Limone Sul Garda

Lake Garda in northern Italy promises unforgettable experiences. With only around 1,200 inhabitants, Limone Sul Garda is a charming town in the province of Brescia, surrounded by olive groves and lemon gardens between steep mountains and Lake Garda. The town is perfect for relaxing days or hours near the water or wandering narrow alleys and enjoying magnificent views. The name Limone is not derived from the citrus fruits that were once grown in the area around the town, but the name derived from the Latin word “limes”, which translates as “a border” due to the fact that this lovely town was on the border between Italy and Austria for a long time.
