Limone sul Garda is a lovely town located on the northwestern shore of Lake Garda in Italy. It is a quite popular tourist destination surrounded by lemon gardens and olive trees between steep mountains and a charming lake. The town has only around 1,200 inhabitants, but during the summer months, there are on average more than 10,000 tourists in Limone. That is why Limone sul Garda has plenty of both paid and free parking lots where locals and tourists can park their cars.

If you are visiting Limone out of the season, you won’t have any problem finding an available parking space in every parking in the town. However, from June to September, it will be much harder to find available parking spaces, especially on the parking lots near the shore of the lake. Still, the parking situation in Limone sul Garda is much better than in the rest of the popular Italian towns and cities.
Where to park in Limone sul Garda?
As we mentioned above, Limone sul Garda has enough parking lots to meet all your needs. You can choose between the paid parking lots which are perfect for whole day stays, free parking lots with a time disc perfect for a few hours stays, or completely free parking lots which are a bit out of town but perfect for long-term stays.
Paid parking in Limone sul Garda
There are a few paid parking lots in Limone, and all of them are close to the waterfront and the center of the town. All of them cost 3 euros for the first hour and then 2 euros for subsequent hours, which is a regular price in popular Lake Garda towns. Here are all the paid parking lots in Limone sul Garda:
Lakeside Limone sul Garda parking
This parking lot with 111 parking spots is located along the lake shores, close to the center and the harbor. It has an electric charging station with 2 sockets of 22kWh and during charging, parking fees also apply. During summer months, you should have some sun protectors for your car windows as all spots are in the sun. Therefore, it is advisable to first check the nearby parking garage for spaces as the price is the same, but you will get shade as well.

It is worth getting there early because this parking lot is usually full in the season. Even though this is a paid parking lot, in the low season it is actually free. Also, those who are arriving by motorbike can leave their helmets in locker cabinets. Payment is at the self-service checkout when you exit, and you can use both cash and credit cards.
Multipiano parking
Multipiano parking is the largest parking lot in the town with more than 600 parking spots. It is located on the opposite side of the Lakeside Parking, and it is spread over six floors with different colors to aid orientation. This paid parking lot is completely covered, so it is the perfect option if you are visiting Limone on a hot summer day.
Also, the parking lot is well maintained and convenient to the historic center of Limone with low impact entrance as there are ivy plants making it less visible. There is an elevator and free toilets which are located near the exit. Worth mentioning is that there is a bit narrow drive down from the upper floors, so it can be tricky to get with a bigger car. Also, keep in mind that during the holidays there are still free places in the mornings, but later there are long waiting times to get in.
Parking on Via IV Novembre
This is another paid parking lot located in the central area of Limone sul Garda. It is built on several floors and has both outdoor and indoor parking spaces. The parking lot is guarded and you can use both cash and credit cards for payment at the machines. Furthermore, the parking has three levels, each with its own entrance (the third level is outdoor).
Also, from the top level you will have a good view all over the old town of Limone. Keep in mind that the parking is located in the higher area of the town, so you will have to walk down a bit to get to the waterfront of Limone.
Parking on Via Caldogno
This parking lot is the last completely paid parking lot in Limone sul Garda. It is a clean, well-maintained, and very quiet parking lot with a beautiful view of the lake. Also, this parking lot is very modern. You can see from a distance where a space is available thanks to small green lights. When you drive in, the license plate number is recorded and the parking ticket is issued specifically for it. Once you have paid, the system knows which car is allowed to pass the exit barrier.

On the ground floor of this parking lot, there are bathrooms that are always very clean and equipped with soap, towels, and toilet paper. Furthermore, the parking is located at a strategic point for getting around the center of Limone on foot. Remember that if you are on the beach to return to your vehicle there is a comfortable 8-storey lift that takes you practically in front of the car park.
Parking with a time disc in Limone
There is also one parking lot in Limone where you are allowed to leave your car for free with a time disc for a maximum of 2 hours. It is located in Via Fasse, and even this parking lot is a bit out of the center, from there you will have to walk only around 10 minutes to reach the center of Limone or the waterfront. Keep in mind that you can park only in the inner, white parking spaces because yellow parking spaces are only for those with a permit.
Free parking in Limone sul Garda
If you want to save a bit or leave your cars for a few days, there are a few free parking lots in Limone. The first one is located in Via Tovo, just next to the sports hall, the second one is in Via Einaudi, while the third one is in Via Tamas, next to the Conad supermarket. All of them are very small (for only five to ten cars) and very far from the center of the town. However, because of their location, you have a good chance of finding an available parking space there.
