Isola was once a simple working-class neighborhood that was quite disconnected from the rest of Milan. However, when the metro system came to this neighborhood, it became more popular not only among locals but also with tourists. Nowadays, Isola is a trendy, hipster area full of many colorful streets, amazing restaurants and stores, and the best barber shops in the city. It is perfect for those looking for a quieter area or young travelers who want to experience an alternative scene in Milan.
Isola is a pretty small neighborhood, so don’t expect to find many various accommodation options. There are only a few hotels and apartments in and near this neighborhood. Luckily, these hotels are pretty good. So if you really want to stay close to this trendy neighborhood, read our list of the best hotels in Isola Milan.
(This article contains 5 hotels near Isola Milan, which are best in our subjective opinion. The order of the hotels is not related to the quality they offer. Every hotel has its pros and cons, so choose the one based on your personal preferences.)
Holiday Inn Milan Garibaldi Station
Holiday Inn Milan Garibaldi Station is a lovely 4 star hotel close to lots of nice restaurants and tram stops. It is actually the only hotel in Isola located on its very end. The hotel offers various types of rooms including Standard Double or Twin Rooms and Executive Double Rooms, with different pricing options based on amenities, season, and booking conditions. But, you can expect that the price will be in a range from 128 to 308 euros per night. Rooms are a decent size, and they are very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated.
The breakfast is not included in the price for the room, but you can have it for an additional 16 euros. However, there are many good restaurants nearby where you can find better breakfast options for less money. Still, if you don’t want to explore the area for restaurants or your time is limited, breakfast at this hotel will suit you well. Worth mentioning is that the Holiday Inn hotel is only 8 stops away from Duomo di Milano, so you will be there in about 15 minutes. If you are coming by car, there is a big parking lot available for 18 euros a day, which is, believe it or not, actually an excellent price.

Hotel Zara Milano
Hotel Zara Milano is a 3 star hotel located just a few steps away from Zara Metro Station. Even though it is not located in the Isola neighborhood, this hotel is only a few minutes away from it. Hotel Zara Milano is perfect for those who want to stay in a calm residential area near a supermarket. You can choose between a Double Room with a Small Double Bed, a Double Room, a Double or Twin Room, and a Single Room. All of them are not so big, but still pretty comfortable and very clean. The price is a bit high for a 3 star hotel ranging from 142 to 260 euros per night.
The breakfast buffet is a typical Italian continental breakfast with various pastries, hams, cheeses, and fruit. It is not included in the price of the room, but it is worth paying an additional 7 euros to have it on your trip. A great bonus for all those coming by car is a private parking lot that costs 22 euros per day (below average rate in Milan). Keep in mind that parking has very steep access and it is a little bit narrow, so for inexperienced drivers as well as those with big cars it can be difficult to park there. Overall, this hotel is great for a short stay or a solo traveler.

INNSiDE by Meliá Milano Torre GalFa
INNSide by Meliá Milano Torre GalFa is another excellent 4 star hotel that is not located inside the Isola neighborhood, but it is very close to it. The hotel is also very close to the central train station, so it is perfect for those arriving in Milan by train. Furthermore, it is placed inside the first 12 floors of the GalfA Tower and offers many great amenities like a restaurant, a gym, a bar, and a shared lounge. The rooms are a decent size, they are very clean and comfortable, but the main advantage is definitely the city view. The price for a room is pretty standard for 4 star hotel, ranging from 168 to 310 euros per night.
We recommend booking higher floors for a better view of the city, especially at night when the buildings nearby are all lit up. Worth mentioning is that there is a style of curtains that makes it easy to decide how much sun you want in the room. Breakfast is pretty good, but you have to pay an additional 20 euros for it. There are a supermarket and restaurants nearby with better prices, so it is up to you to decide whether to get breakfast or not. There is also a small gym with mostly cardio equipment where every guest can exercise for free.

UNAHOTELS Galles Milano is another great 4 star hotel located next to Lima Metro Station on Corso Buenos Aires. It is around 30 minutes walking distance from Isola, so it is relatively close to this neighborhood. However, the main reason why this hotel is on our list is its various amazing amenities like a rooftop restaurant, wellness center, gym, sauna, Turkish bath, indoor pool, and massages. You can choose between Classic, Superior, and Deluxe Double Room, Deluxe Junior Suite, and Classic Single Room.
The price for the room is excellent for what you get, ranging from 120 to 365 euros per night. The rooms are very classy, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast buffet is very extensive with a good range of food to suit most tastes, but it is not included in the price of the room (get it for an additional 14 euros). As we mentioned above, the small indoor pool, sauna, and Turkish bath are a great bonus because they are included in the price.
